The Executives of Los Angeles Jewish Health will hold their 23rd Annual Golf Classic on Monday, October 26, at Valencia Country Club, raising money for the nonprofit's senior care in the San Fernando Valley and beyond.

The tournament, presented by Taffy and Barry Berger, will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the club at 27330 Tourney Road in Valencia, according to the Jewish Federation Los Angeles event listing.

Who The Executives are

The Executives is one of Los Angeles Jewish Health's two support groups, alongside The Guardians, according to LA Jewish Health. Its golf tournament raises money for the organization to support the health and welfare of its seniors.

The most recent results LA Jewish Health has published are from the 18th Golf Classic, held in 2021 at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, which drew 159 golfers and raised $251,000.

The organization behind it

Los Angeles Jewish Health began in 1912. It says more than 1,000 people live on its San Fernando Valley campuses and that it serves more than 4,000 seniors through its programs, according to its website. Its services include assisted living, independent living, memory care, senior behavioral health, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation and PACE, a program that provides medical and support services to seniors living in the community. It also runs the Annenberg School of Nursing.

Los Angeles Jewish Health has not announced a fundraising goal for this year's tournament.
