AFMDA Los Angeles Gala to Honor Sharon Osbourne and Wilshire Boulevard Temple

The November 4 evening in Beverly Hills will include the dedication of two new Magen David Adom ambulances.

American Friends of Magen David Adom will hold its 2026 Los Angeles Gala on Wednesday, November 4, at a private estate in Beverly Hills, according to the organization. Sharon Osbourne will receive the Champion for Israel Award, and Wilshire Boulevard Temple will receive the L'Dor V'Dor Legacy Award.

Wilshire Boulevard Temple's congregation funded seven Magen David Adom ambulances, according to AFMDA.

The program will feature Netanel and Yair Lifshitz, an Israeli father and son who both volunteer with Magen David Adom. The two will share what AFMDA describes as their story of survival and of returning to saving lives. The evening will also include the dedication of two new ambulances.

Jacki Karsh, a six-time Emmy-nominated journalist, will host. Dinner with theater-style seating begins at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30 p.m. and a dessert reception.

For security purposes, the location will be shared with registrants a few days before the gala, according to AFMDA.

Magen David Adom is Israel's national emergency medical, ambulance and blood services organization. American Friends of Magen David Adom raises support for its work in the United States.
