A First! Musical Minyan at FCLA

Friendship Circle of Los Angeles (FCLA) celebrated a milestone with its first full Musical Minyan on Rosh Chodesh Elul. Fathers, brothers, friends, staff, and participants joined in heartfelt tefillah followed by a community breakfast, with thanks to Bibi’s Cafe.

What began as preparation during FCLA’s Sunday Torah Social blossomed into a vibrant minyan where young men actively participated in the davening, were called up to the Torah, and donned tefillin with pride. Over 30 men from Pico, La Brea, Beverly Hills, and the Valley came together, filling the room with joy, song, and unity.

This inaugural minyan marks a new chapter for FCLA, and plans are already underway for a follow-up Sunday Musical Minyan, welcoming the broader community to join in the experience
