Parashat Noach נֹחַ

Noach was a righteous man a Tzadik (“צדיק”), Tamim (“תמים” – humble), and “walked with HaShem”. The Zohar explains that Noach always had HaShem’s ways lead his path among the wicked people of his generation. We learn this from the words “אֶת-הָאֱלֹהִים, הִתְהַלֶּךְ-נֹחַ”, meaning Noah “walked with God” referring to keeping the seven laws.

After the 10 generations from Adam to Noach immense sins, God decided to destroy the generations of Adam

and to restart the world. It took Noa 120 years to build the ark and he never tried to persuade anybody to repent.

Three sinned in the ark with sexual transgressions, defines the order of God, not to have sexual relationship in the ark. The raven the dog and Cham. Since he transgressed at night, he was the first black person in the world, upon leaving the ark, his skin turned black.

The Raven repentant and promised to supply Eliyahu with meals for 40 days. The dog repented and promised not to bark when the people of Israel would leave Egypt.

The word “Et” (“אֶת”) is an acronym of the words Elohim and Torah. In comparing Noach to his generation and to his own family, he was the closest person to HaShem’s ways. Noach’s wife was Naama (“נעמה”, and they had three sons, Shem (“שם”), Cham ("חם”) and Yafet (“יפת”), who later on will have children whose names are past and current nations. Noach was the foundation of the world’s population and the Jewish people (by Shem). 

We know that from the word “Toledot” (“תּוֹלְדֹת”) as they were the offspring of Noach and the new generations, as HaShem had the covenant with him. The Midarsh explains that Noach was born “complete”, meaning he was born with a Brit-Milah (“ברית מילה” - circumcision) and he was to make the next generations of Jews complete as well.

When we sin we allow chaos to take place... Just as it written: “וַתִּשָּׁחֵת הָאָרֶץ לִפְנֵי הָאֱלֹהִים וַתִּמָּלֵא הָאָרֶץ חָמָס” AND THE EARTH WAS FILLED WITH VIOLENCE! Interesting to point out that some are of groups took the name Hamas (Pure stupidity yet exposes the real truth behind their name and actions)!

The Zohar teaches us that mentioning the name Noach (“נֹחַ") 3 times alludes to the three main religions in the world Judaism (Shem) Christianit (Yafet) and Islam (Cham) that Noach saved and ultimately for the creation of three Bait Hamikdash (temples) and then HASHEM IS ONE (to all nations) with the building of the third B”H. 

We notice that HaShem (the Torah) placed Shem’s name first even tough he wasn't the firstborn, as we see in the first verse “אֶת-שֵׁם, אֶת-חָם וְאֶת-יָפֶת”. HaShem points out (to all nations) that His Jewish children are truly considered firstborn as they are His Chosen People. It important to know that when the Torah writes the word אֶת Et or V’Et infront of each son’s name, it means they had a twin sister. 

The myth about dinosaurs, and the age of our world. Today, many misinformed scientists provides thousands of estimates to how old the world is or how long ago dinosaur exists? Many would say billions, millions and other unfounded “estimates”. Commonsense would point out that all answers but one are falls,  as there is only one truth! They all fail to acknowledge the fact of Noach’s Mabul (flood) And it’s Consequences. Whereby the earth Tectonic shift and the movement of the plates that make up Earth’s crust and seven continents took place. All the dinosaurs died in the flood, and like the funnels in the kitchen sink, God provided funnels for the water to receded into the Earth.

Originally in creation there was one continent as we see in the book of Beresheet (Genesis 1:9) “וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יִקָּווּ הַמַּיִם מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶל-מָקוֹם אֶחָד, וְתֵרָאֶה, הַיַּבָּשָׁה; וַיְהִי-כֵן.” “And God said: 'Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.' And it was so” One land (not seven).

The Zohar explains that only during Noach’s flood the the water from below and the water from above flooded the world and separated the continents. The lava from the earth-core and the water above (not rain) created all the fossils and all creation was “captured in time” For example dinosaurs and other genesis’ creations.

The Gemara points out that the “gates of heaven" broke loose, and the depths of the earth opened to send forth streams of raging, boiling water, swallowing everything in its path. Rain fell for forty days and forty nights and the water which covered the earth rose higher and higher. It covered the peaks of the highest mountains. Every living thing died, and all growing things were destroyed. Our world is 5786 years old.

When Noah left the ark, he actually also left HaShem and became unholy. As it says in the Torah, he got drunk, as it is written וַיָּ֥חֶל נֹ֖חַ אִ֣ישׁ הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה וַיִּטַּ֖ע כָּֽרֶם the word וַיָּ֥חֶל means became Chol, not holy. 

We know that Cham, the son of Noah castrated him, to avoid having a fourth son. As it is written וַיִּ֥יקֶץ נֹ֖חַ מִיֵּינ֑וֹ וַיֵּ֕דַע אֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־עָ֥שָׂה ל֖וֹ בְּנ֥וֹ הַקָּטָֽן and Noah knew what his young son did to him.

After Noah was unable to have a fourth son who is actually the Messiah, the Revealer says profoundly that Noah wanted to have a fourth son in the new and corrected world in order to pass on all the good abilities to him, but Cham castrated him. Originally, Noah's name was supposed to be Menachem, as Rashi explained what he explained.

Because Noah should have been called Menachem, and not Noah, if the origin of the name is that he would comfort. Rashi explained to you, may he rest from our annoyance. The sages of Kabbalah say that the word Messiah משיח is:

Mem מ - Menachem

Shin ש - Shem

Yud י - Yafteef

Chet ח- Cham

Noah and his three sons, these are all the abilities in the world.

Noach cursed his son Cham that every fourth son of the children of Cham Canaan, Ishmael will be cursed! Amazingly enough, it holds truth to date. וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אָר֣וּר כְּנָ֑עַן עֶ֥בֶד עֲבָדִ֖ים יִֽהְיֶ֥ה לְאֶחָֽיו

Noah actually lived 58 years (Noah in gematria 58) with Abraham, and they had Shem and his grandson Eber, who lived until Jacob our father, when he left his parents' house. For this, Jacob went to the Midrash of Shem and Eber. "Dwelling in Tents" the tents of Shem and Eber, God.
