This month, students at YAYOE launched a school-wide initiative focused on bringing the Bais Hamikdash to life. In a collaborative effort involving every grade, students, together with their mechanchos and rebbim, selected different aspects of the Bais Hamikdash to study and recreate through interactive displays and detailed models.
The project culminated in a stunning exhibit, directed by Mrs. Sharon Saks, YAYOE’s Art Director, Mrs. Rochel Weichbrod, Student Activities Director and under the leadership of menahel, Rabbi Shlomo Goldberg, . The immersive gallery was visited by students from all grades, as well as members of the wider community and neighboring schools.
The exhibit offered a unique, hands-on educational experience, combining Torah learning with creativity and sparking a deeper connection to the structure, purpose, and spiritual significance of the Bais Hamikdash.
According to staff, the project’s goal was not only to educate, but to inspire a meaningful and emotional bond with the dream of Bayis Shlishi.
Photos of the exhibit showcase the students’ craftsmanship and heart, making the timeless vision of the Bais Hamikdash accessible for the next generation.
