The LA Jewish Hockey League (LAJHL) recently wrapped up its Winter season with 2 Championship games.   The first game featured the younger Divisions’ All Time Maintenance Team facing off against Pacificare.  The game was a true goalie dual between Yonah Botnick and Mishi Minitzer.    After Dov Westreich scored late in the 1st period, both goalies shut the door as the game ended in a 1-0 win for Pacificare sending the boys into complete jubilation.

Our Division A Championship game featured the top two teams, Universal Leasing and All Time Maintenance. Avraham Dov Westreich led the way for Universal with two goals in the 1st period then notching his third goal for the Hat trick mid-way through the 2nd period. Yonah Botnick scored late in the 3rd period to put All time on the board, but it wasn’t enough as Universal cruised to an easy 3-1 championship win.

Tryouts for next season is August 31st
